A Suntory Single Cask Whisky distilled in 1995, matured in a Sherry Butt #5J3020, and bottled in 2010. This old & rare Yamazaki single malt is a single cask whisky from the famous Owner’s Cask series, which allowed private individuals to purchase unique casks for Yamazaki whisky. Long gone are those days, but the quality, rarity and collectible nature of these expressions remains today. This particular expression was distilled in 1995 and matured in a top quality bourbon hogshead cask for 12 whole years, resulting in a gorgeous golden colour and a plethora of brilliant tasting notes including sweet honey, aromatic vanilla, charred oak, gentle nutmeg and a long, chocolaty finish. As a single cask whisky, of which only 206 bottles were produced, this bottling is highly sought after by collectors around the globe.
